<description lang=en>This article deals with language switching as a strategy for teaching physical education and sports in a bilingual context. Our assertions are based on a close analysis of classes and exchanges with teachers in Guadeloupe and Haïti. The present analysis of the facts registered, shows s the importance of code-switching from French to Creole as a strategy among teachers as well as among school children, during such a class. During a sports and physical education class, code-switching favors motor development and contributes to improve partnership between the teacher and the school-children</description>
<description lang=fr>Cet article étudie l'alternance des langues comme stratégie d'enseignement en Éducation Physique et Sportive (EPS) en contexte bilingue à travers l'observation de séances et la passation d'entretiens avec des enseignants en Guadeloupe et en Haïti. L'analyse des résultats met en évidence différents types d'alternance codique français/créole au cours des séances d'EPS, tant chez les enseignants que chez les élèves, comme stratégie d'enseignement et de communication en vue d'améliorer respectivement les apprentissages moteurs et la relation pédagogique.</description>
