QRC is a public, secondary school that admits male students only. The building is listed by the Organisation of American States as one of the Magnificent Seven buildings at Queen's Park West, a historic district on the Register of Monuments of the Greater Caribbean, and was designed by Daniel M. Hahn, architect and chief draughtsman, Department of Public Works, who was a past student of the college. The Queen's Park Savannah, which is across the street from the school, is in the foreground.</description>
