Saint Ann's Bay is the capital of the parish of Saint Ann, Jamaica. In 1494, Christopher Columbus landed in the area and named the spot Santa Gloria. The first building on the right, in the foreground, is Frank Watson's Off Course Betting establishment. This is a view of the beach from Wharf Street. Slide labeled Jam. St. Ann's Bay near where Col. landed.

This busy area of Ocho Rios has pedestrians walking along the streets, multiple parked cars, and a city bus. A retail shop displays many advertisement signs for Pepsi Cola and Master Card.
