Bird American House, Schimmel Restaurant & Bar, Dews, and “Drink Coca-Cola Ice Cold.” On the wall of the A. E. Bird American House building, on the left of the image, is a poster advertising “The M.C.C. Tour 1968” which features cricket players. This image shows Corn Alley in Saint John, Antigua with a parked automobile. The pink and red building, on the right, houses Quin Farara and Company Limited, a liquor merchant. This Quin Farara store is located on the corners of Long Street and Corn Alley in Saint John’s, Antigua. The store’s red doors have the Tuborg logo and beer poster advertisements. Tuborgs Fabrikker, later Tuborg Bryggerier, was founded in Hellerup, Denmark in 1873 by Carl Frederik Tietgen. In 1970, Tuborg was purchased by Carlsberg.
