Résumé : The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
A man holds a barracuda at the gills which was caught near the Bahamas. In the distance is a row boat being pulled behind the larger boat. This image was taken during William Junior Bryant’s fishing trip to Andros, Bahamas in 1948. Images from the trip were also featured in Bryant’s book “Flames of Life: A Pictorial Philosophy,” first published in 1961. Slide labeled Barracuda.
