La cartographie des fonds marins renseigne sur la répartition des habitats et des biocénoses marines, permet un suivi temporel d'évolution et fournit des outils pour la gestion de l'environnement. Les méthodes employées sont la plongée sous-marine, la cartographie acoustique, la photographie aérienne et l'imagerie satellite. Cette dernière est utile à plusieurs titres : fréquence quotidienne des données, meilleure résolution d'images, analyse de séries temporelles, automatisation des méthodes de classification, gain de temps et de réduction de coûts. Des applications techniques concrètes complètent la présentation.

In Trinidad and Tobago, cocoa production is monitored by the Cocoa and Coffee Industry Board, which was established in 1961. Cocoa, used to make chocolate, is a traditional export crop in the country. Buildings like those pictured would be used for processing, drying, sorting, and storing cocoa beans. In this image, several children and adults can be found in the yard near buildings on the cocoa plantation. The buildings are made with wood and have zinc paneled roofs, some of the steps are made of concrete. The level flat area between the buildings on the far right would be used to dry cocoa beans. The beans would be spread out evenly on this area, then raked and turned so that beans were exposed to the sun for adequate drying. Slide labeled Cocoa Plantation Trinidad.

Two in situ concrete/claystone interfaces were sampled at the laboratory level in the Andra Meuse/Haute Marne (France) Underground Research Laboratory (URL) in order to study five years of interactions between Callovian-Oxfordian (COx) claystone and two cementitious materials (concrete bottom slab and shotcrete on the walls of the main gallery), with a specific focus on sulfur. Combined mineralogical, chemical and sulfur isotopic investigations were carried out to define the degree of the perturbation of the sulfur system in the claystone and in both the cementitious materials. At both interfaces, results show that the main perturbation on the claystone side is the formation of scarce μm-sized gypsum, the sulfur content of which is essentially derived from pyrite oxidation. The distribution of gypsum is highly correlated with the fissure network of the damaged zone due to excavation of the gallery. Its presence is also often associated with a loss of cohesion of the concrete/claystone interface. Due to the small amounts of gypsum and its μm-size, measurements were performed by ion microprobe. Adaptations were needed on account of the reactivity of gypsum and sulfates in general under the beam. The use of ion microprobe analysis provided evidence of high local isotopic heterogeneity that could be attributed to kinetic fractionation effects. Some analyses suggest a minor contribution of dissolved sulfates in pore water of claystone and possibly of concrete. The perturbation on the concrete side is marked by a significant increase in the bulk sulfur content within three millimeters of the interface with the claystone, showing a sulfur gradient from claystone to concrete. The main objective of this work was to define the extent of the chemical and mineralogical perturbations, taking into account in situ URL conditions, i.e. hydrodynamic conditions (shotcrete sprayed on the gallery walls and subjected to ventilation of the galleries), damaged zone of claystone induced by excavation and multi-scale heterogeneity. This identifies the relevant parameters to better constrain predictive reactive transport models of concrete/claystone interactions at a realistic scale.

Résumé : En este trabajo se pretende hacer una aproximación a las posibilidades que tiene el espacio público de las ciudades costeras y de las islas como elemento de integración social. Para ello veremos que el diseño de estos espacios desde el punto de vista de la diversidad humana es muy importante, ya que si a la hora de diseñar tenemos en cuenta todas las posibilidades, podremos generar espacios que ayuden a las personas a sociabilizarse. En las zonas costeras contamos con cuestiones específicas y en el caso concreto de las islas y playas en el que existe espacio limitado, es importante definir este rol del espacio público.La humanización del espacio público va de la mano de la accesibilidad, es por este motivo que aplicar criterios de Diseño para Todos y Accesibilidad Universal en el diseño del espacio público nos permite la democratización del mismo, de tal modo que puede ser disfrutado por todos los ciudadanos en igualdad de condiciones. En las islas y las zonas costeras, la exclusión social de grupos poblacionales por falta de accesibilidad puede resultar preocupante ya que la limitación física del espacio reduce mucho las posibilidades de crecimiento de las personas.
Cette étude propose une approche sur les possibilités de faire de l’espace public des villes côtières et des îles un élément d’intégration sociale. Pour cela il est important que la conceptualisation de ces espaces intègre les dimensions de la diversité humaine. Si lors de la conception toutes les possibilités sont prises en compte, il est possible de construire des espaces qui participent à la sociabilisation des personnes. Dans les zones côtières se posent des questions spécifiques et concrètes autour de l’accessibilité aux plages et aux îles dans lesquelles l’espace est limité. Il est important de définir le rôle de l’espace public.L’humanisation de l’espace public va de pair avec la question de l’accessibilité, d’où l’importance d’intégrer les dimensions de l’accessibilité pour tous dans l’aménagement de ces espaces. C’est une question de démocratie, tous les citoyens doivent pouvoir en profiter quelle que soit leur condition. Dans les espaces côtiers, l’exclusion sociale de certaines catégories de populations en raison du manque d’accessibilité est d’autant plus préoccupante que le milieu physique est plus contraignant.
This paper intends to approximate the possibilities that the public space of coastal cities and islands have as an element of social integration. For this we will see that the design of these spaces from the point of view of diversity is very important, since when designing we take into account all the possibilities of generating spaces that help people to become socialized. In coastal areas we have specific things and in the specific case of islands and beaches where there is limited space, it is important to define this role of public space.The humanization of public space goes hand in hand with accessibility, it is for this reason that it applies criteria of Design for All and Universal Accessibility in the design of the public space allows us the democratization of it, in such a way that can be enjoyed by all Citizens in equal conditions In the islands and coastal areas, social exclusion of population groups due to lack of accessibility can be of concern and that physical limitation of space reduces the chances of growth of people.

Description : Pierre FLEURY (Maître de conférences en sciences de l'éducation) s'interroge sur la transmission des invariants d'une discipline à l'autre. Quoi transmettre ? Et comment essayer de scénariser de la manière la plus efficiente possible. L'enseignement des concepts se pose comme un défi tant ces objets sont complexes. En sciences physiques, les concepts semblent être adossés à des invariants-gènes spécifiques. Une première catégorisation de ces objets dans cette discipline est suggérée : invariant-gène, par transformation-conservation, par équilibre, par collection. Le propos tenu est articulé autour de la genèse des invariants-gènes qui prend sa source chez les invariants-opératoires de Vergnaud (1985) - la catégorisation des invariants-gènes en sciences physiques sera illustrées, de quelques cas concrets qui ont pu mette en évidence chez les élèves que les constructions des concepts et invariants-gènes associés semblent très intimes, et d'une tentative d'ouverture de la catégorisation suggérée des invariants-gènes à de nombreuses disciplines.
