Résumé : The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
In 1953, the co-educational school Moore Town Primary and Junior High School in Portland, Jamaica was established as an all age school. The Bump Grave monument of Nanny of the Maroons is erected across the road at the front of the school. Nanny sometimes known as, Granny Nanny, is Jamaica’s only female National Hero.
