The governor's mansion, or King’s House, was built on the foundations of the demolished Spanish Hall of Audience in Spanish Town, Saint Catherine, Jamaica. Thomas Craskell, the Island Engineer, was responsible for preparing the building's plans. The building was completed in 1762 while Sir William Henry Lyttleton was Governor. The mansion was destroyed during a fire in 1925 and now houses the Jamaican People's Museum of Crafts and Technology. In the image, a man sits on the wall of Emancipation Square close to a nearby traffic signal. Slide labeled Spanish Town.

The home is of the bohio, thatched palm wood huts On the bottom of the outside walls you can see large rocks that are placed there to help with the rough winds, particularly during the hurricane season. There are many flowers pots hanging from the house as decorations. A mother and child are standing in front of the house while a dog lays asleep a few feet away. The back of the house is lined with royal palm trees.

Résumé : This company built a new factory here in 1904 and moved its operation from New York into it. 400 workers produced brands Don Cosme, Jose Vila, La Sinceridad, La Evidencia, Marc Anthony, and Light It. The building was sold on May 22, 1910, to the Morgan Cigar Company.In 1914, Morgan expanded the factory to accommodate 1000 workers. They produced the brands Juan De Fuca, Independente, F. Lozano, Wall's Court and Don Sebastian.
