Résumé : Two, high purity, Al-0.1 and 0.3wt%Mn alloys have been cold deformed in plane strain compression to strains of order 1.8 and the kinetics of subsequent recovery by sub-grain coarsening during annealing at 150-300°C measured by high resolution FEG-SEM EBSD. Accurate sub-grain size and misorientation distributions and their evolution with time and temperature have been determined. The average growth rates are then used to estimate the sub-grain boundary mobilities. Growth is analyzed by two well-known growth laws for the average sub-grain size δ (t): i) the standard relation for grain growth: where the exponent n takes values of 2-8 and ii) the relation proposed by Nes for dislocation climb in sub-grain walls: It is shown that the latter relation gives a better fit with the data in terms of the time and temperature dependence of the sub-grain sizes. In particular the activation energies for the logarithmic law are much closer to the values expected for solute-controlled movement of sub-boundaries.

Drupa (fruto) subglobosa, rojiza de 3.5 a 4.5 mm de diámetro.
Herbacée grimpante, pubescente à tomenteuse. Feuilles en forme de fer à cheval ou ovées, de 3,5 à 10 cm, arrondies à émarginées, souvent peltées. Inflorescence staminée en corymbes pouvant atteindre 7 cm qui poussent dans l’axe des feuilles; fleurs femelles vertes en grappes femelles pouvant atteindre 8 cm. Drupe (fruit) ovale, rougeâtre de 3,5 à 4,5 mm de diamètre.
Climbing shrub up to 5 m long.  Leaf alternate, simple, entire, hairy, rounded, cordate or peltate, 2-12 cm x 2-10 cm, petioles 3-7 cm long; male inflorescence a panicle, female inflorescence a simple cyme; male flowers white tinged maroon female flowers clustered in axils of rounded bracts; fruit a red drupe 4-5 mm long.

Résumé : La République des Seychelles constitue un archipel formé de quelque 115 petites îles situées dans l’océan Indien, totalisant 455 km² et s’étendant sur 1 200 km. Les trois plus grandes îles intérieures sont Mahé, Praslin et La Digue qui regroupent 95 % de la population. Les îles des Seychelles offrent en raison de leur situation géographique, de leurs particularités climatiques et de l’attractivité de leurs images de destinations touristiques, la possibilité de pratiquer dans des conditions optimales une grande diversité d’activités de tourisme et de sports de nature tout au long de l’année. Les randonnées pédestre et équestre, le VTT, l’escalade, le surf, la plongée, la voile et le canoë-kayak marquent de leurs empreintes cet archipel. L’objectif de cette réflexion est d'identifier la place des activités de sports de nature dans l’offre touristique des Seychelles et de voir dans quelle mesure elles peuvent contribuer au développement durable de l’île, notamment en tissant des relations avec l’activité économique, la structuration du territoire et la construction identitaire. L’enjeu de développement durable est-il pris en compte par les acteurs seychellois dans le domaine touristique ?
The Republic of Seychelles is made of more than 115 small islands in the Indian Ocean, with 455 km2 of land in a stretch of about 1200 km. The three biggest inner islands are Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue, which include about 95% of the population. The Seychelles islands give the possibility in optimal conditions a vast variety of tourism activities and nature sports all year long, due to their geographical situations, their geomorphological configurations, their climate particularities, and their attractive images of touristic destinations. Walking and equestrian trekking, mountain bike, climbing, surfing, diving, yachting, and canoe-kayaking are some activities available in this insular territory. Because of this exceptional potential, the development of “nature” sports is in the (universe) field of leisure and tourism. The objective of this study is to identify what place “nature” sport activities play in the tourism offer in the Seychelles. Don’t they contribute, in the long-term development of the islands by having relations more interactive with the economic activity, the territorial structure, and the identity construction? Is the outcome of long-term development taken seriously by the actors of Seychelles in tourism field?

In order to estimate the seismic anisotropy of subducted crust, polycrystalline samples of KA1Si(3)O(8) K-lingunite (25% of the total subducted transformed sediments), have been synthesized and deformed under the temperature and pressure conditions of the subducted slabs. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) characterizations of the recovered samples reveal that the microstructures are clearly dominated by [001] glide involving screw dislocations. For this reason, only {100} could be identified as glide planes, the question of [001] slip on {110} remains open. Few 1/2 < 111 > dislocations were observed gliding on {110} planes, which implies that 1/2 < 111 > {110} is a harder slip system than those involving [001] slip. The occurrence of sub-grain boundaries suggests that diffusion and climb might be active under these conditions.;To assess the texture of polycrystalline K-lingunite, the crystal preferred orientations (CP05) were calculated using visco-plastic self-consistent (VPSC) polycrystalline plasticity model in simple shear using the slip systems identified by TEM. Finally, the seismic properties of K-lingunite aggregates were calculated from the CPO and single crystal elasticity tensor. K-lingunite is predicted to have a high seismic anisotropy, which could combine constructively with one of the stishovite (same proportion as K-lingunite at the transition zone depth ranges).
