It is the sister castle to the El Morro Castle in Havana harbor. The inside of the castle has been entirely restored and is exactly as it was in Spanish times.
Castillo de San Pedro del Morro was designed in 1637 by Giovanni Battista Antonelli (also known as Juan Battista Antonelli), a member of a Milanese family of military engineers, on behalf of the governor of the city, Pedro de la Roca de Borja, as a defense against raiding pirates.

The Malecón is a broad street with a public walkway , protected by a seawall which stretches for approximately 5 miles along the coast of Havana Bay. It is located in Havana and runs from the mouth of Havana Harbor in Old Havana to Vedado. Construction of the Malecón began in 1901, during temporary U.S. military rule after Cuba's War of Independence.

The Central Highway was commissioned by President Machado and presented and approved by the Cuban Congress in 1925. Construction began in 1927 The price of the construction was $75,870,000, or more than $107,000 per mile. (705.6 miles) The highway almost runs the entire length of the island from Pinar del Rio, all the way to Santiago de Cuba. It cover a distance of just over 700 miles.

Boats and ocean liners anchored in Saint George’s harbor, Grenada. A yacht with what appears to be the name Sans Souci is flying a United States of America and the Grenadan flag (1967-1974). In 1967 when Grenada became a British Associated State, it adopted a blue-yellow-green flag with a nutmeg in the center. The nutmeg represented Grenada’s position as the “Spice Isle” and is also featured on the Coat of Arms. This flag was used until 1974 when Grenada gained independence. Merchant Vessel (MV) Geestcape, partially pictured, entered service in 1966. In 1935, the Van Geest brothers in Spalding, United Kingdom started a horticultural business. The brothers later expanded their business to include a cargo service to carry horticultural produce, primarily bananas, from the Windward and Leeward Islands to Europe. MV Geestcape is also flying the flag of the British Merchant Navy, a red flag with the Union Jack in the upper left corner. Motor Ship (MS) Renaissance, behind MV Geestcape, was built in 1966. Until 1977, Renaissance operated primarily on the Marseille-Haifa route under Compagnie Navigation de Paquet (Croiseres Paquet), Marseille, France. The cruise liner had many subsequent owners throughout her history, until her disposal in 2010. She is pictured here flying the French flag. In the distance overlooking the harbor is Fort George, Grenada’s oldest fort which was built by the French in 1705. Fort George continues (2013) to function as the headquarters for the Royal Grenada Police Force, which it has housed since 1854 when the Colonial Government took over control of the fort. A Ford Cortina automobile driving on a dirt road towards the Maima-Seville Heritage Park, Jamaica. Christopher Columbus spent over a year marooned in Seville, Saint Ann after his fourth voyage to the New World in 1503. In 1509, Diego Columbus, Christopher Columbus's son and Governor of the Indies, appointed Juan de Esquivel Lieutenant in Jamaica. Upon his arrival, de Esquivel established the first European settlement and first capital in Jamaica called Sevilla la Nueva, now known as Seville. Slide labeled Jam. Seville near where Col. landed.

Pictured is the dome of the President Palace with a Cuban flag. The former Presidential Palace, built between 1913 & 1920, now houses el Museo de la Revolución. The palace was the place of the failed assassination attempt on US-friendly dictator Batista in March 1957, by revolutionary student leader Jose Echeverria. The museum follows Cuba's history from pre-Columbian culture to present day socialism.
The former Presidential Palace (presently Museo de la Revolución) was designed by the Cuban architect Carlos Maruri and the Belgian architect Paul Belau and was inaugurated in 1920 by President Mario García Menocal. It remained the Presidential Palace until 1959. The building has Neo-Classical elements.

Morro Castle Spanish: Castillo de los Tres Reyes Magos del Morro is a picturesque fortress guarding the entrance to Havana bay in Havana, Cuba. Juan Bautista Antonelli, an Italian engineer, was commissioned to design the structure. When it was built in 1589, Cuba was under the control of Spain. The castle, named after the biblical Magi, was later captured by the British in 1762.[

The Presidential Palace in Havana housed of all Cuban presidents from Mario García Menocal to Fulgencio Batista. It became the Museum of the Revolution during the years following the Cuban Revolution. The Spanish name is el Museo de la Revolución, and is located in the Old Havana section of Havana. On the bottom left of the photograph is a typical street which are very popular in the main cities of Cuba.

It remained the Presidential Palace until 1959. The building has Neo-Classical elements, and was decorated by Tiffany & Co. of New York.

Construction of the church began in 1770 and was completed in 1813. It was demolished earlier last century, when only its tower survived. Several years later it was rebuilt under its original design. In 1986 it was converted into the Museum of the Cuban People's Struggle against the Counterrevolution.

De Lima & Co. Ltd. (jewelers), W. C. Ross & Co. Ltd. (pharmacy), Bata (shoe store), Pereira’s, and Taurel Appliances. W. C. Ross and Co. Ltd. was established in 1843 by William Clayton Ross on Frederick Street as the Colonial Dispensary. In the far distance, at the end of the street, is the Port of Spain lighthouse. A rural memorial to Our Lady of Charity of Cobre, Cuba's patron saint. The picture shows several children leaving flowers to the saint, which is believed to bring prosperity. La Virgen is a focus of popular devotion in Cuba, not just for Catholics but also for followers of Santería as well as even those who are not otherwise religious. The beloved Virgin of Charity was declared the patron saint of Cuba by the pope in 1916.

This statue is located at el Palacio de los Capitanes Generales in Havana, Cuba. The palace used to house the captain general, or governor of Cuba when the island was under Spanish control. It is located on calle tacon near obispo, in old Havana.
Christopher Columbus marble monument was installed in the year 1862 by the Italian sculptor J. Cucchiari.
