Résumé : The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
Mallica Reynolds, known as Kapo, was the shepherd (male leader) and founder of a Zion Revival sect. Reynolds was ordained as patriarch Bishop of Saint Michael’s Revival Tabernacle of Kingston, Jamaica. Many of Reynolds’ paintings and sculptures are part of the permanent collections in the National Gallery of Jamaica, which in 2006 staged Intuitives III featuring many of his works.
