This old colonial style church is located just outside of Trinidad, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Churches like this one are located all throughout Cuba, with similar architecture and a bell tower. The church grounds are gated and there is a large Poinciana tree on the side, as well as a large Royal palm in the front. There is an unidentified bust at the entrance of the church.

On the right can be seen Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, known as “the Kirk” which is Scottish word for church. In 1810 the foundation stone was laid with the help of Scottish Loyalist Michael Malcolm and fellow members of the Saint Andrew's Society of the Bahamas to reflect the traditions of the Church of Scotland. The building was added to over the years. The nave, portico, and bell tower were added in 1864. It is the second oldest church building on New Providence. In 2010, the Kirk became affiliated with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Slide labeled Bryant Nassau Mar .'46.

Although the photographer did not name the building in this photograph, making it difficult to identify, it is a typical catholic church, possibly dating back to the 17th or 18th century. It is obvious that the church is open for visitors due to the street venders selling t-shirts on the bottom right and the woman standing in front of the iron gate is possibly there to collect tickets or charge admission.

Construction of the church began in 1770 and was completed in 1813. It was demolished earlier last century, when only its tower survived. Several years later it was rebuilt under its original design. In 1986 it was converted into the Museum of the Cuban People's Struggle against the Counterrevolution.

Buildings near the harbor in Saint George’s, Saint George, Grenada. Many of the buildings’ architectural elements feature symmetrical designs. People can be seen walking along the harbor as automobiles pass by. Some of the retail establishments include “Jonas Browne & Hubbard Ltd.,” “The Royal Bank of Canada,” “The Nutmeg Bar & Restaurant,” “The Food Fair,” “BWIA,” and “Hankeys.” Jonas Browne and Hubbard Limited is a supermarket, which has been in business since the 1830s. Food Fair is also another supermarket chain. Trinidad and Tobago based BWIA, British West Indian Airways, was incorporated in 1943 by Lowell Yerex. The clock tower of Saint George's Anglican Church can be seen above the city. Saint George's Anglican Church was built in 1825 and suffered damage during Hurricane Ivan in 2004, losing its roof. The clock tower, constructed in 1904, still remains. Small boats can be seen in the harbor along with Merchant Vessel (MV) Geestcape, partially pictured, which entered service in 1966. In 1935, the Van Geest brothers in Spalding, United Kingdom started a horticultural business. The brothers later expanded their business to include a cargo service to carry horticultural produce, primarily bananas, from the Windward and Leeward Islands to Europe. Résumé : La Catedral de la Virgen María de la Concepción Immaculada was built of Cuban limestone between 1748 and 1777. It became a cathedral in 1789. The cathedral faces the Plaza de la Catedral. The curtained carriage to the left may be a hearse. Palaces surround the other three sides of the square. On the left is the mansion of the Marquis de Aguas Claras, now El Patio Restaurant. The building on the right was built in 1741 as a house for the Marquesses de Arcos. In 1825 it became Cuba's first post office.

On the left side of the image are yachts and various boats anchored in the lagoon off the coast of Saint George’s, Saint George, Grenada. As of 2013, the area above the hill belonged to Port Louis Marina. The buildings in the center of this image were built as barracks to house members of the Southern Defense Force, which was formed in 1944 during World War II. After the war, the barracks became the home of Grenada Boys’ Secondary School (GBSS). GBSS is Grenada’s oldest school, which officially began in 1885 at the Church Street location. Steamship (S.S.) Regina is shown anchored near the Grenada Port Authority pier in Saint George’s harbor. S.S. Regina, originally built in 1939, was acquired in 1964 by Chandris Cruises and renamed Regina. Her funnel features the Greek Chi symbol which was placed on Chandris ships to honor the founder’s Greek heritage. In the distance, atop the hill on the right, can be seen the dark stone walls of Fort George, Grenada’s oldest fort which was built by the French in 1705. Fort George continues (2013) to function as the headquarters for the Royal Grenada Police Force, which it has housed since 1854 when the Colonial Government took over control of the fort.
