The research is in the field of work concerned with the process of didactic contextalisation (Delcroix, Forissier, Anciaux, 2012). It also mobilizes process of the comparative approach (Mercier, Schubauer-Leoni et Sensevy, 2002). Data processed within the limits of this communication were collected by interview of self-confrontation. The results are used to model the interpretive filters according to three axes: the practical epistemology of the professor through the categories of Shulman (1987), forms of inference employed and his organization. Our study allows us to confront, in this model, the specifics or generics, fruits of disciplinary didactics to the effects of the didactic contextualization. We note that the use of contextualization seems to act as a filter (regardless of the teacher or the discipline concerned) constitutive of a profile kind (in the sense of Clot). Finally, at the end of this research, we discuss the contribution of this type of study for the training of teachers by querying the aspect built of these filters in action-context interaction and by validating the legitimacy of this question: "What is happening in the minds of the students"?Clot, Y. et Faïta, D. This meeting brought together about 70 researchers, Ph. D. students, and professionals from France and 12 other countries, representing universities, research agencies, as well as government and private companies. The symposium aimed to gather specialists who are engaged and acting in programmes on hazard appraisal, risk prevention and urban management in the city environment. These people compared experiences acquired in two different fields: on the one hand urban growth and its consequences, and on the other hand, natural hazards and their effects, in particular in developing countries.Three themes correspond to the three sessions of the symposium. (1) Natural hazards and environmental factors: inventory, diagnostic and classification, (2) Vulnerability of urban society and environment: concepts, approaches, and classification, (3) Tools for urban risk prevention and risk management in case of crisis and catastrophes. The application of macroeconomic models to analyse and conceptualize the economic policy, as well as controlling macroeconomic imbalances, is still at an early stage in small islands developing states. This article tries to fill in this gap by proposing a macroeconomic model for analyzing, forecasting, and testing the effects of shocks to the economy, applicable for each of these territories. The case of Dominica, a small island developing state of Caribbean area, has been approched. This model draws on the analytical techniques of cointegration and error correction. The single equations are specified and their forecasting performance is assessed. Then, the model is constructed and shock simulations are performed and different scenarios are developed to give further insight in the future path of the main economic variables. One of the main scenarios of this study will determine in comparison of Millennium development goals (MDG), the economic growth rate of Dominica which would help to attain the objective of reduction poverty in half by 2015, as well as the fiscal and monetary policy compatible with this goal. Finally, it helps to make macroeconomic frameworks for strategy reduction of poverty. Its flexibility serves to aid the discussion with all parties. ; 1914-2014, a century of female anthropophagy in brazilian art : relevance and topicality ? At the beginning of the twentieth century, in Brazil, a radical artistic rupture took place, which marked the beginning of a new era. The resulting modernity differed from its European counterpart by the awareness of geographical, cultural and political distances that alienated Brazil from Europe and more specifically from its former colonial owner, Portugal. Brazilian modernity sought to define its identity through important basic elements that constitute the stuff that the New World is made of: cross-breeding, mythology and post-colonialism. The Brazilian avant-garde emerged around 1928 with the publication of The Anthropophagy Manifesto by Oswald de Andrade (1890-1954), who is thus the founder of the Anthropophagy, that we can define as a backward step into a reinvented form of ″Amerindianness″. The ″bad savage″ voices his criticism against impostures of the world. « Anthropophagy art is not a literary revolution, nor is it a social plea, nor a political pamphlet, nor a religious tract. It is all these things at the same time. Its law is simple: everything that is not me is of interest to me. The law of men is the law of Anthropophagy ». It thus prescribes eating up imported models and digesting them through the process of hybridization in the name of Brazilian identity. By displacing Freudian concepts, «Anthropophagy is the permanent transformation of the Taboo (man-eating) into a Totem (Brazilian identity) ». The permeating influences of psychoanalysis and anthropology need to be put in perspective: the displacement of the anthropophagous taboo remains a symbolic act of transgression, a metaphor, but the anthropophagic reference does not concern the pre-Columbian period, because it is updated. We propose to study this phenomenon through four questions: 1°- What are the relations between Anthropophagy, history, esthetics and ideology? 2°- What is the place of women Brazilian artists in the emergence of this movement, taking into account their decisive presence right from the start? 3°- Taking into account the resurgence of Anthropophagy from the second half of the 20th century onwards, what is the place of women artists in this phenomenon? Are they pursuing the same interests as the founders of the movement?4°- Can we deduce that there exists a specifically female genre within the anthropophagic movement of yesterday and of today? If so, what is its relevance? Where does it stand with respect to the contemporary concepts of post-modernity and globalization in the present-day art world? http://www.theses.fr/2014AGUY0766/document | Partager |
Differences in the political representation of women between Guadeloupe and Martinique were the source c our questioning about the political socialisation of women in the French West Indies. Sy interviewing elected men and women in Guadeloupe and Martinique, we tried to understand how political socialization coul explain the level of involvement of women in politics. With gender being the concept from which any societ justifies the process of separation and hierarchy between male and female individuals, it is through the sexual socialization process that individuals learn their gendered raies. If this separation between men and women in both public and private spheres tends to impede women in their political commitment, elected women of the French West Indies have not been disproportionately affected by sexual political socialization. On the contrary, the matrifocality in the French West Indies would have allowed a number of women to be socialise dsimilarly to men. However, the strong gendered values of this society would have still hampered women at the beginning of their political career. While family provides basic political values, political parties have only a relative role of socializing agent. However, associations seem to be a decisive/crucial socializing agent in terms of political commitment, acting as a career booster for men and women in politics. Socialized to political values, these elected individuals become in turn factors of political socialization for young people whe represent the next political generation. http://www.theses.fr/2012AGUY0498/document | Partager |

But current solutions, mostly based on artificial neural networks do not always meet end users requirements on the readability and the understandability of predictive models. In this paper, we present a new version of our original solution based on the concept of aggregate variables in order to predict flash flood events from observed water level and/or rain measurements, particularly in the context of caribbean watersheds in which flash flood are much uncertain. We combine aggregate variables in juries. Juries of aggregate variables are trained and tested using a typical 10-fold cross validation scheme. Best juries are searched through an evolutionary approach that is optimized. Different parameters are set up like aggregation periods and jury sizes to prove the efficiency of the proposed approach compared to classical solutions. The volcanic island of Mayotte (374 km super(2)) is part of the Comoros Archipelago, which is situated on the North of Mozambic's Canal (Indian Ocean). Mayotte is composed of two islands and some thirty small islands distributed in a lagoon of more than 1,000 km super(2). Being one of the French Republic's Territorial Collectivity, this island is characterized by a very fast demographic evolution (growth rate : 5.8 %), which constitutes the foundation of the development problematic. Most of local halieutic production comes from the reef (nearly 2,000 t in 1999), the technic of "palangrotte" (deep line) is still dominating. The fishing fleet is composed of monoxyl pirogues and polyester fishing boats for the 1,200 fishermen. The first FADs (Fish Aggregating Devices) were installed in 1989. Now, 5 FADs are situated in the lagoon whereas 10 others have been installed out of it. If it is very hard to evaluate economic impact of FAD in Mayotte, their success seems to be limited because of several local constraints : fear to fish out of the lagoon, little interest in tuna, lack of formation. Nevertheless, faced to the demographic evolution and the decrease of the reef ressources, a program of fishing development on FAD has been initiated in 1998, with those following themes : realization of a new prototype of FAD, experimental fishing program with vertical drift "long line", teaching programs for the local fishermen. Today, it is too early to analyze the informations already collected, but the results are very promising, and validate the technical improvement of the new prototype. These characteristics of the mathematical site turn it into a help for the pupil or student (within the framework of an evaluation in mathematics), what we show by the analysis in term of site of a subject given in the competitive ex-amination for secondary school teaching (CAPES) in mathematics. Furthermore, by revealing the organization of a mathematical concept, we show that the site can be a tool for professional training of teachers of mathematics, on the example of the characterization of a constant function on an interval by its derivative. This paper intends to approximate the possibilities that the public space of coastal cities and islands have as an element of social integration. For this we will see that the design of these spaces from the point of view of diversity is very important, since when designing we take into account all the possibilities of generating spaces that help people to become socialized. In coastal areas we have specific things and in the specific case of islands and beaches where there is limited space, it is important to define this role of public space. The humanization of public space goes hand in hand with accessibility, it is for this reason that it applies criteria of Design for All and Universal Accessibility in the design of the public space allows us the democratization of it, in such a way that can be enjoyed by all Citizens in equal conditions In the islands and coastal areas, social exclusion of population groups due to lack of accessibility can be of concern and that physical limitation of space reduces the chances of growth of people. ![]() | PALM: A Parallel Mining Algorithm for Extracting Maximal Frequent Conceptual Links from Social Networks Auteur(s) : Stattner, Erick Reynald, Eugenie Collard, Martine Auteurs secondaires : Laboratoire de Mathématiques Informatique et Applications (LAMIA) ; Université des Antilles et de la Guyane (UAG) Springer Éditeur(s) : HAL CCSD Springer Résumé : International audience Numerous methods have been proposed in order to perform clustering from social networks. While significant works have been carried out on the design of new approaches, able to search for various kinds of clusters, a major challenge concerns the scalability of these approaches. Indeed, given the mass of data that can now be collected from online social networks, particularly from social platforms, it is important to have efficient methods for exploring and analyzing these very large amount of data. One of the recent social network clustering approaches is the extraction of conceptual links, a new approach that performs link clustering by exploiting both the structure of the network and attributes of nodes to identify strong links between groups of nodes in which nodes share common attributes. In this paper, we focus on the optimization of the search for conceptual links. In particular, we propose PALM, a parallel algorithm that aims to improve the efficiency of the extraction by simultaneously exploring several areas of the search space. For this purpose, we begin by demonstrating that the solution space forms a concept lattice. Then, we propose an approach that explores in parallel the branches of the lattice while reducing the search space based on various properties of conceptual links. We demonstrate the efficiency of the algorithm by comparing the performances with the original extraction approach. The results obtained show a significant gain on the computation time. 28th International Conference on Database and Expert Systems Applications (DEXA) Lyon, France hal-01637554 https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01637554 DOI : 10.1007/978-3-319-64471-4_21 | Partager |
![]() | A New Cell for Electrical Conductivity Measurement on Saturated Samples at Upper Crust Conditions Auteur(s) : Violay, Marie Gibert, Benoit AZAIS, Pierre Pezard, Philippe Lods, Gerard Auteurs secondaires : Géosciences Montpellier ; Université des Antilles et de la Guyane (UAG) - Institut national des sciences de l'Univers (INSU - CNRS) - Université de Montpellier (UM) - Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) Éditeur(s) : HAL CCSD Springer Verlag Résumé : International audience Electrical resistivity soundings are used by geophysicists to determine the structure and composition of the Earth's crust and mantle and to explore natural resources (ore, oil, gas, water). Their interpretations in terms of composition and in-situ physical conditions depend mainly on laboratory measurements of electrical conductivity of rocks at simulated crustal conditions of temperature, pressure, saturation and pore pressures. These measurements present a numbers of limitations, in particular, in the case where conductive pore fluids are present, as in the case of deep reservoir conditions, where temperature exceeds 250 A degrees C. Here, we present a new cell capable of measuring electrical conductivity of large saturated samples at confining pressure up to 200 MPa, pore pressure up to 50 MPa, and temperature up to 500 A degrees C. The measurement cell has been developed in a commercial, internally heated, gas pressure apparatus (Paterson press). It is based on the concept of "guard ring" electrode, which is adapted to samples that are jacketed by a very conductive, metallic material. Numerical modeling of the current flow in the electrical cell allowed defining the optimal cell geometry. Calibration tests have been performed on Fontainebleau sandstones saturated with electrolytes of different conductivities, up to 350 A degrees C. The resulting electrical formation factor and temperature dependence of electrical conductivity are in very good agreement with previous studies. This new cell will improve the exploration and exploitation of deep fluid reservoirs, as in unconventional, high enthalpy geothermal fields.

![]() | The lognormal handwriter: learning, performing and declining Auteur(s) : Plamondon, Réjean O'Reilly, Christian Rémi, Céline Duval, Thérésa Auteurs secondaires : Laboratoire scribens ; Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal (EPM) Laboratoire de Mathématiques Informatique et Applications (LAMIA) ; Université des Antilles et de la Guyane (UAG) Éditeur(s) : HAL CCSD Frontiers Résumé : International audience The generation of handwriting is a complex neuromotor skill requiring the interaction of many cognitive processes. It aims at producing a message to be imprinted as an ink trace left on a writing medium. The generated trajectory of the pen tip is made up of strokes superimposed over time. The Kinematic Theory of rapid human movements and its family of lognormal models provide analytical representations of these strokes, often considered as the basic unit of handwriting. This paradigm has not only been experimentally confirmed in numerous predictive and physiologically significant tests but it has also been shown to be the ideal mathematical description for the impulse response of a neuromuscular system. This latter demonstration suggests that the lognormality of the velocity patterns can be interpreted as reflecting the behavior of subjects who are in perfect control of their movements. To illustrate this interpretation, we present a short overview of the main concepts behind the Kinematic Theory and briefly describe how its models can be exploited, using various software tools, to investigate these ideal lognormal behaviors. We emphasize that the parameters extracted during various tasks can be used to analyze some underlying processes associated with their realization. To investigate the operational convergence hypothesis, we report on two original studies. First, we focus on the early steps of the motor learning process as seen as a converging behavior toward the production of more precise lognormal patterns as young children practicing handwriting start to become more fluent writers. Second, we illustrate how aging affects handwriting by pointing out the increasing departure from the ideal lognormal behavior as the control of the fine motricity begins to decline. Overall, the paper highlights this developmental process of merging toward a lognormal behavior with learning, mastering this behavior to succeed in performing a given task, and then gradually deviating from it with aging. Ths paper analyzes the methodes of design and the theorical, symbolic and systemic limits of scales, and it tries to define why the establishment of a set of common reference points for languages doesn't reach its goal of a consensual interpretation of the Common Reference Levels.
